Workshop 1:Key Account Management (KAM) in Pharma

Applying best practices in KAM for business results

As the Pharma industry continues to consolidate, we are starting to see beyond boarders. Companies are facing intense pressure to differentiate themselves from the competition and avoid commoditization of their offerings bringing added value and value based to the conversation. Commercial teams are responding by trying to sell value but are generally being rebuffed by disinterested buyers.

Our workshop will show a proven alternative approach to co-create value with and become strategic to your largest and most important customers. The Strategic Account Management Association will run a short introductory session to reach a common understanding on the principles of SAM where successful practitioners will share not only what they did, but how they did it in a highly interactive session.

Workshop 2:Design the optimal organizational structure for business innovation

This workshop, hosted by the Digital Health Coalition, will convene thought leaders from various pharmaceutical companies and change management firms to explore how organizational structure, culture, and communication can impact the success of business innovation initiatives – or limit their long-term adoption. Whether it means bringing innovation in-house, developing smart strategic partnerships, or adopting agile marketing, all marketers are now being asked to reexamine the structure of their teams. The content and discussion topics of this workshop are designed for HCP and patient marketers, brand leads, and digital COE roles.

Workshop participants will:

  • Learn how to critically evaluate the structure of their team or organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and innovation agendas
