Joseph Fierro is an accomplished and award-winning digital marketing executive with specialties in marketing technology, automation, predictive analytic modeling, analytics and customer relationship management. Throughout his career he’s served in leadership roles in a variety of industries including healthcare, financial, retail and media/telecommunications. His work is critical to businesses looking to grow profitability and create seamless ‘moment of truth’ experience at the intersection of people and technology.
He is the Vice President of Customer Insights and Analytics at Northwell Health, the largest integrated health system in New York State, with 23 hospitals, nearly 600 community and research facilities and more than 66,000 employees.
With more than four million annual patient visits, Joe is responsible for understanding the Northwell customer and aligning cross-functional teams to develop growth, loyalty and retention strategies. He was the lead architect and developer of a sophisticated and customized marketing technology stack that integrates a data management platform with segmentation and insights to achieve audience customization through real-time personalization.
Prior to Northwell, Joe served in similar digital and analytical leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase, Nielsen, Cablevision (Altice USA), The Children’s Place and Scholastic. He began his career at Sperry Corporation (now Unisys), where he built sophisticated radar and missile systems. He received a Naval Commendation for his work on the Trident Submarine.
Joe also is a professor of a graduate level course in analytics and visualization at New York University.
