Wim began his career in the licensing department of Organon, Netherlands. He moved to Yamanouchi in 1992 as a project manager for Spain and responsible for the planning and execution of all legal, logistic and commercial steps necessary in order to establish Yamanouchi Pharma, S.A. which was officially declared affiliate as per September 1993.  In 2005 he became Vice President Operations at Astellas Pharma.
