What will your field force ideally look like in five years? And how are you going to
get it there?
IMS and eyeforpharma have designed a special course to help answer these questions. The Field Force Evolution Training Course takes place as a separate session at this conference. It focuses on how you can alter the frameworks that have guided managers up to today - while considering the frameworks that may well guide them in the future.
Why come?
This is a unique training course, which combines a series of practical exercises and realistic simulations with the contributions from a wide range of senior executives during the SFE conference. The training and the conference will be truly integrated, with exercises taking place jointly across both. Overall, your learning and networking experience will be far greater.
What's in the programme?
During the initial sessions, we will consider sales force sizing and structure in detail, studying the principles and frameworks behind these topics. We will also look closely at the systems that have been provided to sales forces, including both IT and
incentive systems, and how they have been used to greater or lesser effect. In order to examine these issues, we will use the IMS Field Force Evolution simulation. The simulation will focus on resource optimisation of the sales force.
At the end of this day, participants will be given a "conference workbook". This will contain specific references to the discussions and workshops that will be held during the conference itself, and it will prompt participants to study these presentations for specific ideas, visions and elements that will help to form a picture of how pharmaceutical sales forces might evolve over the coming five years. Of course, participants will be free to attend any eyeforpharma conference track they wish to; they will simply be prepared with a pre-established briefing (created in coordination with the speakers) that will help them to consider the presentations in the light of the course's topics.
On the last day of the conference, the group will meet again for three hours, during which time they will participate in an open discussion with the course's leaders, comparing the notes they have taken and the opinions they have formed.
The Field Force Evolution Training Course will allow participants to exchange views about current best practice, consider future best practice and practice different strategies in a realistic business simulation. It will be an unforgettable event. There will be special social events arranged for the Course attendees.
When is it?
The Field Force evolution Training Course takes place on the day before the main conference (Tuesday 6th March), the morning of the first day of the main conference (Wednesday 7th March) and on the final morning of the main conference (Friday 9th March).
