Schering-Plough taps Kenexa for sales force recruiting

WAYNE, Pennsylvania (January 6, 2004) - Schering-Plough has signed a three-year agreement for Employment Process Outsourcing (EPO) services from Kenexa. Under the terms of this agreement, Kenexa will recruit Schering-Plough's primary care sales force, working with Schering-Plough to source, train, and manage the onboarding of new sales representatives.

"Kenexa's EPO services help companies like Schering-Plough rapidly identify and qualify the right talent, ensuring improved quality, reduced costs, and shorter time-to-hire," said Elliot Clark, COO of Kenexa.

IDC, the market research firm located in Framingham, Mass., indicated in a March 2003 report that U.S. HR services grew 12.7 percent to $30.1 billion in 2002. HR BPO (business processing outsourcing), which includes Kenexa's Employment Process Outsourcing (EPO), is the fastest growing segment of HR services.
