Ivan Blanarik, was born in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1968.

Ivan started his career in 1994 in Austria , where he joined Boehringer Ingelheim CEE regional office in Vienna . Since then, he held various positions within Boehringer Ingelheim in Europe . In years 1997-2001 worked as Head of the BI Representative office in Kiev , Ukraine . Afterwards moved to Ingelheim , Germany assuming the position of Senior regional business manager within Prescription medicines Europe . During the years 2001-2003, Ivan was a project leader of Field force effectiveness in Europe . In 2003 he assumed a position of Head Marketing & Sales Prescription medicines at BI Portugal.

Currently, Ivan works as Managing director BI Finland.  Ivan has a degree in pharmacy and business administration.
