  Pharmaceutical Growth Markets 2013-2014

Methodology

Report has been produced following a rigorous four step research process.

Step 1. Preliminary Research

The Report Producer conducts 26 interviews with industry executives to understand what are the challenges and needs the industry are facing and need data and analysis to help improve their business opportunities. Additionally, a survey is sent to our database, which has more than 30,000 active contacts, to validate the results.

To obtain initial primary information on these growth regions, a survey was sent out to a targeted section of the eyeforpharma database. Surveys were distributed electronically in May 2013 and the questions asked were based on:

  • 29 primary interviews with pharmaceutical executives on their needs and a further 27 in depth interviews with payers, pharma and patient groups contributing towards the report
  • Participant requests from eyeforpharma conferences
  • Survey completed by over 200 executives working in pharma
  • The most recent secondary research

Step 2. Gathering and Analyzing Primary Data

Using knowledge from the interviews, previous conferences, published material (secondary sources) and survey, the project expanded into another multidimensional conversation with 20 senior decision makers from the identified regions.

Step 3. Peer-Reviewing and Editing

All reports are peer-reviewed and the resulting feedback is incorporated in the report. Once feedback is incorporated, the report is edited and designed.
