The
eyeforpharma team:
Paul Simms
General
Manager
Paul has been responsible for eyeforpharma since
2003. Since then, the team has grown from 3 people
working in an old factory in Shoreditch, London,
to a successful company operating in 5 continents,
with 50% annual growth.
Paul is primarily responsible for strategy, planning
and new opportunities. He has also recently been
renovating his new house, enjoys architecture and
playing the piano. |

Nina Hattingh
Global
Sales Director
Nina moved to eyeforpharma in 2003 and is in charge
of global pharmaceutical sales.
Nina provides a strong voice for solution providers
in all aspects of eyeforpharma's work, ensuring
that pharmaceutical executives are able to benefit
from their products, services and broader industry
knowledge from working with multiple clients. Nina
works with a number of suppliers, looking at the
bigger picture and generating the best positioning/exposure
for each company. |

Izzy Wakeling
Head of Global Events
Izzy has been working for eyeforpharma since August
2004. Now responsible for all aspects of events,
she brings a strong can-do attitude to the team
and has helped in expanding eyeforpharma to where
it is now. She works closely with Paul Simms in
order to ensure the team's strategic and ambitious
visions turn into reality and run effectively and
efficiently. Izzy enjoys long-distance running and
travelling. |

Richard Bracchi
Global Conference Director
Richard demonstrated a strong
commercial aptitude from an early age. Joining eyeforpharma
in 2006, he has already redeveloped established
conferences as well as expand the sector by creating
successful forecasting conferences both sides of
the Atlantic.
Richard is spearheading several new ideas, including
webinars and the eyeforpharma Breakfast Club. Outside
work, Richard retains a keen interest in the property
market and small business start-ups. A keen cycler,
he also captains the eyeforpharma football team. |

Mark Walker
Global Conference Manager
Mark has been at eyeforpharma since April 2006.
Since joining he has been involved in a wide variety
of events, including launching therapeutic-specific
events conferences with research and development
of CNS drugs. He hopes to continue creating new
and unique gatherings based on market demand. |

Ed Harris
Global Conference Manager
Ed moved across from his role as a project manager
at sister company First Conferences to eyeforpharma
in late 2006.
He is developing the US ecommunications and social
marketing space while also spearheading eyeforpharma’s
move into the oncology. Interests include watching/playing
football and gastronomy. |

Takuya Shimada
Global Conference Manager
Takuya began working with eyeforpharma in October
2006 as a Global Conference Director with a special
brief to develop outstanding pharma events for the
Japanese market. His first task is to develop the
fast-growing annual Sales Force Effectiveness Japan,
followed by other events designed to meet the particular
needs of the Japanese pharmaceutical industry.
Takuya hopes his previous career in the arts, when
combined with his keen interest in international
business, will add an extra dimension to the experience
he creates for conference participants. |

Liam O’Reilly
Business Development Director
Liam joined the eyeforpharma team at the turn of
2007. Having come from a predominantly sales background,
Liam’s new role within eyeforpharma is to
develop new business and build relationships regarding
sponsorship & exhibitors with existing clients
and new business for our forthcoming repeat annual
and new events. |
