While we would love to host as many patients and patient advocates as we can, please be aware that we cannot host everybody. Also, we receive a very high volume of Scholarship requests, so you may experience a delay in response. We promise we will get back to you as quickly as we can.
Scholarship places will be allocated based on two key criteria:
1. Timing - as we aim to get back to every applicant in a timely fashion, those who apply early have a greater chance of success. Once we are at full capacity, we are unable to accommodate any further scholars.
2. Relevance - we are most interested in patients who are able to give constructive feedback to the North American pharmaceutical industry on where they feel new technologies could have improved their experience of trials as they journey through to recovery.
Do you cover travel and accommodation expenses?
Our conference budget has been designed to allow for accommodation and travel costs to be paid in full for patient speakers who are involved in the programme. A limited number of full Scholarships which include travel and accommodation costs will be provided to other non-speaker patients - to apply, please click here. Entry to the conference will also be free of charge to any patients who are affected by the topics addressed in our programme who have their attendance agreed with eyeforpharma.
What does the complementary pass give me access to?
The entire conference: all tracks, sessions, lunches, coffee breaks and networking drinks. The only exception might be private ‘workshops’ where the persons running those workshops have ultimate discretion as to who attends. However, we would not expect any patient attendee to be excluded from one of these sessions.
What do I do if I need some kind of assistance or have a special dietary requirement?
Please email Caitlin Champion with any requests.
