Doug Gimesy is a pharmaceutical marketing veteran of nearly 20 years. Having recently been the Marketing Excellence and Biopharmaceutical Business Manager for Hospira Australia Ltd, he now teaches at Monash University in the Department of Management, sits on Southern Health’s Human Research Ethics Committee, and consults in marketing strategy and the application of ‘framing’ in health, policy and organisational communication.

 

A graduate of the Institute of Company Directors, a certified practicing marketer and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Marketing, Doug’s previous roles include VP of Business Development and Communications at Phosphagenics Ltd, General Manager of ConvaTec, Associate Director (Marketing and Sales) of Bristol-Myers Squibb Oncology and Infectious Diseases franchise, and both board member and committee chairman of Environment Victoria
